Hi! I'm Jimmie, a Charlotte Mason homeschooling mom of an only daughter, age 10. We use a literature based but eclectic curriculum-- currently Beautiful Feet History of the Horse, Noeo Science Chemistry, Learning Language Arts Through Literature, Spelling Power, and Living Math. We do lapbooking, notebooking, and other crafts.
We have used the following curricula in the past -- Sonlight K, 1, & 2, Winter Promise AS1, Noeo Physics, Singapore Math.
Personally, I am interested in photography, cooking from scratch, blogging, writing, and traveling. Here are the things I've bookmarked lately at Tagfoot.
Thank you for your welcome! I'm still trying to learn to navigate my way around and trying to get a new blog going. Have no idea what I'm doin! But, it's a learning process! LOL. I'm so computer illiterate!
I wondered if you could help me. I just joined hslaunch. I have some files that I wanted to upload for mini books from some of our lapbooks, but I uploaded my first one and it says that is pending approval. Do you think I did something wrong? I uploaded it several days ago. Does it normally take a long time and I should be patient or do I need to do something different?
Thanks for the welcome Jimmie. I really appreciated your Squidoo lens telling about making my own notebook page. I don't have word and have OpenOffice. I'm struggling. I'm keeping at it, though, and can't wait to add to the community.
