I have been homeschooling since 1997.
I have eight kids, have homeschooled all but one of them.
I decided to first homeschool because we lived so far out in the middle of nowhere, my (then) 9th grader would get on the but at 5:10AM and not get home until past 6:30PM. He spent almost as much time on the bus as he did in school... after two weeks I realized this was NOT working.
He went from being a non reader... hated reading anything... to now he goes to college, is studying to become a professor of literature! He loves reading and loves wrting short stories and novels!
