I am a homeschool mum of four boys 22, 19, 12 and 10. We live in a small community in New England. We love homeschooling our young men and plan to travel abroad while homeschooling them. :)
We are now in our 3rd year of homeschooling. We use an eclectic approach to our home learning although we lean more towards Ruth Beechick and Charlotte Mason.
We use Learning Language Arts Through Literature, Living Books for Science, Math On The Level, AOP Horizons Math, IEW. SOTW & MOH along with Homeschooling in the Woods, Time Travelers, and Abeka History, Phonics for Reading and for spelling we use All About Spelling .
I am a freelance artist and love painting and spending time with my best friend, my husband Michael.
I am quickly learning how to create notebooking pages and lapbooking fold ideas and it is alot of fun~ thanks to my friends who continue to help me along~ :)
I am the List Owner for AKOL; All Kinds of Learners along with AKOL Unit Studies as well.
I enjoy painting and teaching painting, reading, cooking and collecting recipes and old recipe books, garage sales, book sales and coffee cluches with friends.
The most important things to me is my Faith, my family and my friends - I treasure all of them.

Your pages are really nice! How do you use the "Dance Mat Typing"? My 12 year old struggles with typing, and I would love to hear any suggestions to help him. Thanks!
