I am a homeschooling mommy of 3 shockingly amazing children. We have homeschooled from the start, and have seen the fruits of our labor. My oldest child (auditory learner) tests 4 years ahead of his level. My second (visual learner) has not been tested, but she is absolutely BRILLIANT! All three are confident and very outgoing. They all three are well-behaved and well-mannered... well, the toddler has his moments. LOL! HE is looking like he will be our hands-on learner! Homeschooling is not easy, but it is worth the sacrifice! (We are eclectic in our homeschool style.)
My oldest is almost 10, and is 5 foot 2 inches tall. He wears a size 9.5 mens shoe and is very skinny! We joke that he looks like a capital letter L. He loves his height and the advantage it gives him in basketball and football. My second child is 5, and is our little angel. She is sweet... and clumsy. She cannot go 2 days without getting a bruise on her shin or a black eye from a ball. She is normal in height. My third child is 2, and is our adventure! He keeps us on our toes. You cant take your eyes off this one for a second or he will do something crazy... like the time he went streaking naked at church! He was 10 pounds 7 ounces at birth and seems to be taking after his big brother in height.
We are a Christian family who loves attending church and telling others about what God has done for us. I was saved at 18 while attending Bible college. My husband was saved as a preteen. My oldest two asked the Lord to save them, too. (Romans 3:23; 6:23; 10:9,10,13, John 3:16)
We began homeschooling because we firmly believe that this is what God has called us to do. For us there is no other option. And God has blessed us for this commitment! We love homeschooling!
