Umbarger Family Homechool

I am a homeschooling mom to three wonderful kids, and I love every minute of it-- ok, maybe not EVERY minute, but certainly most of them :-) Ive been doing this for nearly 7 years...

I always wanted to homeschool my kids, but my husband thought they'd be "freaks" when we talked about it, so my first son went off to kindergarten. After hubby saw the dramatic personality change in him, he asked me if I still wanted to homeschool (which, of course, I did!), so we pulled him out at Christmastime that year... My husband definitely has a different outlook of what homeschooling is all about nowadays- and is one of the most involved dads I know :-)

This year, we are using Beyond FIAR volume 3, Math U See, Saxon Math, Apologia General Science, Considering Gods Creation, and an ecclectic bunch of other stuff...
