I describe our style as Moore Mason Notebooking.

I believe in delayed start academics, kids should have a chance to be kids. Before the age of 8 or 9 I believe children should have a chance to explore their world, adjust to its rules, learn how it works, experiment with their limits, follow their interests and they ought to be read to and hugged as often as they breathe.

I believe the basis of any good education is good living books! I also believe children need dirt, water and sunshine to grow just as much as any plant.

We are literature based with lots of nature study. I surround my children with good living books on many topics. We read a lot. Then I find free resources and activities to use to go with our books. If I cant find them, I create them myself.
